The Apollo Club of Boston is the second-oldest continuously-active men's singing group in the United States. Founded in 1871, the Club has a long and distinguished choral singing history. Today, as they celebrate more than 150 years, they have a membership of approximately 25 business and professional men.
Conductor :
A Boston area chorus of about 45 men, that gives three or four high-quality concerts a year, performing a varied and broadening repertoire, drawn largely from diverse American and European classical and popular genres of various levels of difficulty, singing from memory when the time for preparation permits.
Artistic Music Director :
We perform an eclectic repertoire, from Gregorian chant and classical part-songs to jazz standards, sea chanties, and psychedelic rock. The Highland Glee Club has withstood the test of time by constantly renewing itself; the Club comprises men from all walks of life and fine singers of every age.
